A Sheboygan Falls man is facing charges in Wisconsin and Texas for illicit behavior with a minor while gaming online.
Court records show that 29-year-old Marcus J Polster is facing three counts of Exposing Genitals to a Child and two counts of Causing a Child 13-18 to View Sexual Activity in Sheboygan County for an incident that occurred earlier this year.
The Lone Star Police Department in Texas was contacted in November by the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office to locate a 15-year-old victim living in Morris County.
Lone Star PD quickly located the minor victim for an interview, which revealed that Polster sent inappropriate photographs and text messages to the victim over XBOX.
The 15-year-old continued to tell authorities that there are potentially more victims on XBOX who may have come into contact with Polster while gaming.
Following the interview with the victim, Lone Star Police obtained arrest warrants for the 29-year-old for charges of Child Grooming and Online Solicitation of a Minor in Morris County, Texas, in addition to the five felonies he faces in Sheboygan County.
Polster has since pleaded not guilty to his Sheboygan County charges and remains in custody on a $150,000 cash bail.
He will next be in court on January 20th for a pre-trial conference.
