The City of Manitowoc looks to be building a new subdivision.
The Common Council approved a recommendation from the Plan Commission on Monday (December 15th) that would approve a subdivision concept plan and instruct city staff to work with TLG Home to create an official map amendment and annexation petition for the 29 acres of land.
The Deerbrook and Kellner Subdivision would be built around Kellner Street and Homestead Road, behind Vinton Construction, and would include an extension of Homestead Road and Deerbrook Lane.
Homestead would end at North Rapids Road, while Deerbrook would stop at Kellner Street.
The project would reach the Town of Manitowoc Rapids border. How many homes would be built was not said in the subdivision concept plan.
