After back-to-back months of declining prices, the home prices in Manitowoc County rose last month.
The Wisconsin Realtors Association reports that the median price in November for a home sold in Manitowoc County was $234,000, which is $16,000 higher than in October.
That price is also $29,000 higher than November of last year and $64,000 higher than the same month in 2023.
At the same time, the number of homes sold dropped significantly from 91 in October to 79 in November.
That is the same number of homes that were sold in November of 2024.
For comparison, there were 75 homes sold in Sheboygan County last month with a median price of $262,999.
Statewide, 5,093 homes were sold at a median price of $325,000.
Both of those figures were actually down from October’s numbers, when 6,643 homes sold with a median price of $331,500.
