With 2026 just around the corner, the City of Manitowoc is reminding pet owners to get their pet license renewals in.
There is still plenty of time, as they are not due until March 31st, but they are required for all cats and dogs over the age of five months.
The price for both animals is the same, but they do vary based on other factors.
Spayed or neutered animals have a cost of $10m while “intact” animals are $15. Any renewals submitted after the March 31st deadline will also have an additional $5 fee added on.
The City of Manitowoc only allows three dogs and three cats per residence, however a four-animal permit may be granted.
To get your pets licensed, simply bring a rabies vaccination certification for each animal and a form from your vet verifying that they have been spayed or neutered.
More details on the pet licensing system can be found at Manitowoc.org.
