The Sheboygan Police Department has officially welcomed two additional officers to its ranks.
While SeehaferNews.com previously reported on Officers Amber Burns and Nathan Hornburg graduating from the Fox Valley Technical College Police Academy last week, they were joined by two additional officers at a swearing-in ceremony held on Monday (December 16th).
Joining Burns and Hornburg were Officers Noah Hausler and Adrian Vatsana, all of whom were officially recognized and sworn in to the Sheboygan Police Department.
While all four newest officers in Sheboygan were previously serving the community through the police academy and field training, Monday marked their official welcome to the department.
Additionally, the swearing-in ceremony also recognized John Smith, who, after 16 years on the force, was promoted to the rank of Detective.
The department said, “This well-deserved promotion reflects his years of hard work, leadership, and commitment to protecting and serving.”
The ceremony on Monday was attended by family and friends of those being recognized, who joined in to celebrate the important milestones of all five individuals.
