The family of an Oshkosh teen involved in a hit-and-run is trying to raise money to help in her recovery.
On the SpotFund page, the family says that 18-year-old Kaylee Jackson was crossing the street last Friday when she was hit by a pickup truck.
The driver of the truck sped off, and police are at last word still trying to find him.
The incident left Kaylee with five broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and a broken leg.
Since the incident, Kaylee has begun her recovery journey, with the family saying she has had her neck brace removed and has been able to wiggle her toes, but the broken ribs will have to heal on their own.
As of this morning, over $8,000 has been raised to help cover her medical bills, with a majority of that coming from an account with the name Tyrese Haliburton.
We could not confirm if that is indeed the NBA star who was born and raised in Oshkosh.
