Sentencing is being ordered for an Eau Claire man convicted in a child neglect case.
Matthew Stanton and Shanta Hill were charged in 2023 after three children, ages 6, 5, and 4, were found to have been mistreated.
Hill previously pleaded no contest to neglect charges and was sentenced to four years in prison.
Stanton pleaded guilty this week to a charge of chronic child neglect with emotional damage as a party to a crime and was also sentenced to four years in prison.
