Several Two Rivers wrestlers are finding success early in the season.
During a recent tournament in Watertown, the Raiders’ boys team scored 140.5 points, placing 21st, and the girls’ team scored 163 points, placing 19th.
Individually, Max Matthias finished 1st in his weight class, as did Angie Bianchi and Destiny Parker.
Other highlights saw Ben Klein taking 3rd, Alyzon Romero and Sophia Soukup finishing 4th, Derek Klinkner taking 5th, Logan Hansen earning 6th, Breckarl Walesh finishing 7th, Gavin Glaser and Hunter Mahner coming in 10th.
Then on Thursday, the squad fought hard but lost both their duels.
Brillion won with a score of 30-28, and Sheboygan Falls won with a score of 48-36.
There were some solid individual performances, including wins from Ben Klein, Derek Klinkner, and Gavin Glaser, each of whom earned one pinfall victory, Max Matthias, who pinned both his opponents, and Logan Hansen.
