The Manitowoc County Metro Drug Unit and Green Bay Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) made another major drug arrest on Monday (December 15th).
Three Virginia men, Karonn Ramon Hamilton, Andrea J. Allen, and Corven M. Jones, were arrested after law enforcement determined that all three were traveling to the City of Manitowoc for the purpose of delivering a large amount of methamphetamine.
In total, 25 pounds of meth were found in a vehicle with an estimated street value of $250,000.
During their arrests, investigators also determined the three men were armed with guns, with one of the firearms being determined to have been stolen from the State of Virginia.
Hamilton, Allen, and Jones were booked into the Manitowoc County Jail and are facing charges of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine while armed.
Bail hearings took place this afternoon at the Manitowoc County courthouse.
Manitowoc County Sheriff Dan Hartwig says the investigation highlights the work the Metro Drug Unit and the DEA of Green Bay do to disrupt large-scale drug trafficking operations and protect the citizens of the community.
The Metro Drug Unit also extended its appreciation to the Manitowoc County Joint Dispatch Center, Manitowoc and Two Rivers Police, the Wisconsin State Patrol, and the FBI, among other agencies.
