A Grand Chute resident was one of three winners during a record-breaking billion-dollar Powerball jackpot drawing last Saturday (December 13th).
While it wasn’t the $1.1 billion jackpot, a $50,000 ticket was sold at the Kwik Trip on College Avenue.
All winning tickets matched four of the five numbers, which were 1-28-31-57-58 and the Powerball of 16.
A second $50,000 ticket was sold in Eau Claire, while a $100,000 Powerball ticket was sold in the Village of Wales.
Nationwide, seven tickets won cash prizes worth $1 million or more, and 61 tickets won $50,000 or more.
The next Powerball drawing is tonight (December 17th), with an estimated jackpot of $1.25 billion after no one matched all the numbers in Monday’s drawing.
The $50,000 winner in Grand Chute has 180 days to claim their winnings, while the Kwik Trip will get an incentive from the Wisconsin Lottery.
