The Appleton man accused of using a gay dating app to stalk a victim is maintaining his innocence.
32-year-old Matthew Huebschman was before Outagamie County Judge Carrie Schneider yesterday, where he pleaded not guilty to the lone charge of Stalking filed against him.
The police report states Huebschman used the gay dating app Grindr to pose as the victim and invite men into the victim’s home without his knowledge.
He would then allegedly watch from outside as the men entered the victim’s home.
The prosecutors in the case claim this went on for around a year, leading to the victim asking for over $9,000 in restitution.
Huebschman will next be in court for a pre-trial conference on January 26th.
