The Salvation Army of Manitowoc County is teaming up with Shoreline Hometown Credit Union for a first of its kind drive thru donation event.
The First Annual Drive-Thru Red Kettle Event is scheduled for Friday, December 19th at the Shoreline Hometown Credit Union Branch on Calumet Avenue in Manitowoc.
This family-friendly event invites the community to swing through, make a kettle donation from the comfort of their vehicle, and learn how local giving fuels local impact.
Guests can meet staff between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m., snap a photo with the giant red kettle, and tour The Salvation Army’s Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) vehicle, which responds to fires, disasters, and community emergencies throughout Manitowoc County.
Money raised will go towards the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign, which has a goal of raising $125,000 this year.
Corps Officer and Pastor Lt. Samantha Tamayo calls the event, “a chance for neighbors to give, learn, connect, and see firsthand how their generosity keeps hope alive in Manitowoc County.”
