The Roncalli Jets girls basketball team welcomed the Valders Vikings last night in an EWC clash.
Valders led a dominant performance en route to a whistle-to-whistle 58-29 win over the Jets. This game saw Valders looking to keep their perfect season alive, while Roncalli was looking to pick up their first win of the season.
Valders really bothered Roncalli in the first half and led by a score of 36-11 at the break.
However, give the Jets credit which turned things around in the second half, but the offensive combo of Vikings Seniors Megan Hochkammer and Abby Schultz was just too much to handle, finishing with 20 and 17 points respectively.
Roncalli was led on the offensive end by senior Madison Keller, who finished with 11.
With the win, Valders improves to 7-0 on the year and 3-0 in the EWC.
As for the Jets, they are now 0-5 overall and 0-3 in the EWC.
Up next for Roncalli will be a trip to Brillion on Tuesday, and the Vikings will host Kiel for a big-time matchup.
