
It will be a busy night in the area for girls’ basketball teams.
Valders looks for a seventh consecutive win to open the season tonight as they head to the Hangar to play the Roncalli Jets.
The Vikings are led by a talented trio of seniors, Megan Hochkammer, Zoey Siders, and Anna Olson. Siders has been red hot from the floor, averaging 17 points per game while shooting better than 56% from three-point range. Hochkammer is averaging 15 points and leads the Vikings in rebounds with nearly 7 per game, while Olson averages six boards per game. Meanwhile, sophomore Courtney Zabel is off to a good start, averaging about 7.5 points per game and nearly six rebounds per contest.
Roncalli is still in search of its first win of the season. Senior Madison Keller is averaging nearly 13 points per game and is shooting 75% from the line.

Meanwhile, Manitowoc Lutheran is travelling to Mishicot to play the Indians. The Lancers look to get back on the winning track after dropping their first game of the season to St. Mary Catholic on Monday night, while Mishicot looks for the first conference win and to square their overall record at 3 and 3.
Elsewhere, Manitowoc Lincoln plays their second game of three this week as they host Sheboygan North, Two Rivers is home for New Holstein, Reedsville hosts Elkhart Lake/ Glenbeulah, Chilton travels to Kiel, Sheboygan Falls entertains Brillion, Sheboygan Lutheran hosts Living Word Lutheran, Sheboygan Christian is at Kohler, Random Lake visits Oostburg, and Cedar Grove/Belgium hosts Ozaukee.
Also, Oconto Falls visits Denmark, Ashwaubenon travels to Bay Port, Green Bay East hosts Shawano, Hilbert heads to Green Bay NEW Lutheran, Oconto hosts Kewaunee, Algoma heads up to Sevastopol, Southern Door is home for Sturgeon Bay and Gibraltar heads to Peshtigo to play the Bulldogs.
