Sheboygan’s public transit company has brought back a holiday tradition to get into the festive spirit and help those in need throughout the community.
Shoreline Metro’s Jingle Bus will return for six rides throughout Sheboygan, with the next coming tonight (December 11th) at 6:00 p.m. and at 7:00 p.m.
The Jingle Bus offers Sheboyganites the opportunity to take a ride on an authentic trolley through the Making Spirits Bright Light show at Evergreen Park before heading to Downtown Sheboygan to see the historic fountain and light display at the Mead Public Library.
The cost to ride on the trolley is the donation of one nonperishable food item that will benefit the Sheboygan County Food Bank. Rides will be first-come, first-served with a capacity of 30 passengers per ride.
Those interested in taking a ride on the Jingle Bus are asked to board at the Shoreline Metro Transfer Station located on Pennsylvania Avenue.
If you are unable to catch a ride tonight, the Jingle Bus will also have two routes offered on December 16th and 18th next week.
