Multiple people were injured in a car accident in Brillion last week.
The Brillion Fire Department tells SeehaferNews.com that they were called to the intersection of County Highway PP and County Highway K on a report of a multi-vehicle crash on Friday morning (December 5th).
The initial caller also told dispatch that numerous injuries were sustained, and an unknown number of people were trapped in one of the vehicles.
Upon arrival, first responders located two vehicles on the scene, one of which had flipped on its side, causing the entrapment.
Crews immediately began rendering aid to those injured, while others began vehicle-extraction measures.
In order to safely free the individual, the Brillion Fire Department’s hydraulic rescue tools were successfully utilized.
Once freed, the trapped individual and multiple other occupants involved were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
Following the incident, Lieutenant Dylan Wendling thanked the Calumet County Sheriff’s Office, the Brillion Police Department, Brillion First Responders, and Gold Cross Ambulance for their assistance.
