A few incumbents have filed paperwork to retain their seats on the Manitowoc County Board.
So far, 3rd District Supervisor Rita Metzger, 4th District Supervisor Dan Heilman, 9th District Supervisor Ken Sitkiewitz, and 10th District Supervisor Don Zimmer have all announced their candidacy.
Others include 12th District Representative Kevin Behnke and 17th District Susie Maresh.
One person running against Incumbent Lee Engelbrecht in District 20 is Andrew Schwerma of Two Rivers. Engelbrecht has not filed paperwork to run again.
The other person filing differently is District 5 Supervisor and County Board Chairman Tyler Martell.
He’s running for County Executive after Bob Ziegelbauer announced he will not seek another term.
Lastly, Incumbent Emily Walker has filed to run for the Multi-Jurisdictional Municipal Judge for the City of Two Rivers and the Village of Mishicot.
Other candidates have until January 6th to file paperwork to run in the 2026 Spring General Election.
