An annual initiative to help those facing hunger in Mishicot is just one day away.
The annual Mishicot Fire Department Food Drive will take place tomorrow (December 10th) with the proceeds benefiting the Mishicot School District Food Pantry and Snack Pack Program.
From 7:00 a.m. through 7:30 p.m., anyone interested in helping out is invited to drop off nonperishables and canned goods at the Fire Department located at 214 South Mani Street in Mishicot.
However, beginning at 5:00 p.m., Mishicot Firefighters, fire trucks, and Santa will hit the streets for the Food Drive Parade, during which they will be going around the city and collecting additional donations from residents’ homes.
The parade route will include Church, Main, Randolph, Washington, South Rockway, Mark, and Kent Streets, River Wood and Chrysler Drive, Samz Road, and Park Lane.
Mishicot residents not on the parade route are encouraged to stop by the Fire Department at any time throughout the day to ensure their donations help benefit students in the Mishicot School District.
