Theresa A. Ravanelli (née Ronzani), 92, of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, passed away on December 2, 2025.
Born on July 30, 1933, in Luziana, Vicenza, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Angela (Capozzo) Ronzani. Theresa immigrated to the United States in 1955. She lived in Manitowoc for 65 years, where she was an active member of the Garden Club and St. Francis of Assisi Parish. She volunteered with many organizations, including the Manitowoc Senior Center, and served as an usher at the Capitol Civic Center.
Theresa was a devote mother as well as a creative and talented woman who enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting, as well as playing cards. Her greatest love—after being a proud Italian—was spending time outdoors. She devoted countless hours to gardening and tending to her many flowers. Her backyard was her “special” place and a source of great joy and pride.
Theresa was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Mark, and her siblings Mary, Francesco, Peitro, Clara, Elvira, Mario, and Natalino. She is survived by her children Jean (James) Ravanelli-Meyer, Joan Ravanelli Miller, Frank (Vicki) Ravanelli, and Robert (Jane) Ravanelli; her sister Mirella Bordignon; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Theresa was surrounded throughout her life by kind and caring friends who supported and comforted her through every challenge.
A heartfelt thank-you to all the staff at Angelus Senior Living Center, who loved Theresa as family and gave her the best life during her time with them. The family also extends special thanks to Sharon Richardson Hospice and Manitowoc Home Health.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Lincoln Park Zoological Society, Inc., Peter’s Pantry, or a charity of your choice.
