A popular attraction in Sheboygan is expected to return next year.
Operations were halted at the Kiwanis Park Biergarten after the City and the previous operator could not come to an agreement, leading to the operator choosing not to renew his contract.
John Powers of Power Pubs LLC wanted the exclusive rights to run a second Biergarten at Deland Park, but the city said they were not in a position to honor that request.
However, the City’s Public Works Committee will be holding a meeting at 5:00 this evening in the Council Chambers in City Hall, where they will look over a Vendor Permit Agreement with Tributary Beer Garden, LLC.
WHBL reports that the agreement calls for a vendor payment of $6,000 for 2026, $6,300 for 2027, and $6,615 for 2028, and an expiration date of December 31, 2029.
The agreement would have to be approved by the Committee and the full City Council, which is set to convene next Monday.
