Green Bay Police are investigating the cause of a series of crashes on 1-41 last Thursday.
Officers were dispatched to the area of northbound I-41 between the Lombardi Avenue and West Mason Street exits at around 5:15 on a report of a traffic incident.
Witnesses reported seeing a dark colored sedan traveling erratically, forcing drivers to brake abruptly.
This led to multiple crashes, which landed a 22-year-old Howard woman in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
