A high school in Appleton has hired a new band teacher after the previous one was arrested for child pornography possession.
In a Facebook post, Fox Valley Lutheran High School says Randy Kramer will take over the job for the second semester.
They conclude by expressing their gratitude for the news and their anticipation of welcoming Kramer to the building.
The former band teacher, 63-year-old James Neujahr, faces 20 counts of possession of child pornography after Appleton Police received a tip through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children two months ago.
He was later arrested without incident, and no evidence suggests that children at the school were harmed.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him and will be back in court in January for a pre-trial conference.
