The Salvation Army of Manitowoc County is bringing back one of its most popular events connected to the Red Kettle Campaign.
The 7th annual “Battle of the Financials” will be held this coming Tuesday (December 9th), with eight local banking institutions taking part.
This friendly challenge pits the banks and credit unions against each other as they try to raise the most money for the local Salvation Army and take home the trophy.
Participating financials this year are Bank First, Community First Credit Union, Fox Communities Credit Union, Holy Family Memorial Credit Union, Kohler Credit Union, Nicolet National Bank, United One Credit Union, and Shoreline Hometown Credit Union.
Representatives from each will be stationed at kettles around the county, ringing bells and rallying customers and community members to give.
Development Director Michael Pearson said of the event, “The Battle of the Financials is a powerful reminder of what happens when a community comes together. These banks and credit unions aren’t just raising money – they’re helping us keep critical programs running for thousands of local residents.”
