Kids in Sheboygan County have the chance to have their artwork entered into a conservation-based poster contest.
The County’s Planning and Conservation Department is now accepting submissions for its 2026 Conservation Poster Contest.
Students in Sheboygan County from K5 through seniors in high school are able to participate and showcase their creativity.
Those entering a poster submission are required to follow this year’s contest theme: Soil, Where it all Begins.
There will be five divisions for the contest, including K and 1st grade, 2nd and 3rd grade, 4th through 6th grades, 7th through 9th grades, and 10th through 12th grades.
Winners of each division will receive vouchers to Camp Y-Koda, while first-place winners will also advance to the Area Contest to compete against neighboring counties. Winners of that competition will then move on to compete in the State and National Conservation Poster Contests as well.
Those looking to enter the competition individually can send submissions through the mail addressed to 508 New York Avenue, Sheboygan, WI, Room 335.
