A youth soccer club director in Franklin is facing charges, accused of trying to fly overseas for sex with a child.
Justin Kagerbauer was ordered to be detained pending trial on Tuesday, following his arrest on Thanksgiving.
Authorities say the 46-year-old had been chatting for months with a woman in the U.K. about her nine-year-old niece, but the woman was actually an undercover agent.
Kagerbauer wrote about being interested in young girls and “it would be a dream come true.”
He was the director of tryouts for the Croatian Eagles Soccer Club in Franklin and also worked for Hartland Home Builder.
