Nearly every Eastern Wisconsin county saw a double-digit drop in gas prices over the past week.
The AAA Gas Prices website has Manitowoc County’s average price per gallon of regular unleaded fuel listed at $2.65, which is twelve cents less expensive than last week.
This is also the lowest price Manitowoc County has seen since we started tracking in 2021.
Sheboygan County saw a drop of ten cents to $2.64, while Calumet and Outagamie Counties reported thirteen-cent declines to $2.65 and $2.60 per gallon, respectively.
Kewaunee County also saw a dip of ten cents, coming in a $2.67, while Door County had the biggest drop of fourteen cents to $2.71.
Brown County is the only area not to hit double digits, as its drop of six cents leaves motorists paying $2.67 per gallon.
The state average is down nine cents to $2.63, while the national average fell five cents to $2.99, marking the first sub-$3 average since the pandemic.
