Authorities in Sheboygan County have provided an update on the case of missing 63-year-old Todd Janssen.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office has said, as of 4:00 p.m. today (December 3rd), Janssen has not been located despite extensive and collaborative search efforts.
When notified on Saturday that Janssen was missing, Deputies with the Sheriff’s Office searched the area of Broadway Road, his last known location, and the area of his former residence.
This included a search of specific residences, buildings, and outbuildings both during and after the weekend snowstorm.
These efforts continued into Sunday (November 30th), which included the utilization of a drone; however, they would again be unsuccessful.
Both the Sheriff’s Office and Sheboygan Police Department have received numerous tips on Janssen’s potential whereabouts and taken multiple witness statements regarding his disappearance.
Thanks to this additional information received, a large-scale search operation was conducted yesterday (December 2nd) involving the Wisconsin K9 SOS Search and Rescue Team, the Town of Wilson Fire Department, the Town of Sheboygan Falls Fire Department, the Kohler Fire Department, and Sheboygan PD, canvassing an extensive area attempting to locate Mr. Janssen without success.
At this time, the Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement agencies continue to receive tips and are acting on them accordingly. Janssen is a 5’ 8” white male and was last seen wearing a brown Carhart jacket and a tan or gray Carhart stocking cap.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office at 920-459-3112.
