A teenager led law enforcement in Fond du Lac County on a short high-speed chase over the weekend.
A deputy was on patrol just after midnight on Friday when they saw an individual driving recklessly near the Industrial Park.
The vehicle was clocked traveling at over 80 miles per hour in a 35 MPH zone on Highway 175, and the driver refused to pull over when the deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop.
Instead, the driver turned off the headlights, accelerated north on Main Street, ran a red light at Pioneer Road, and turned into a nearby trailer park.
The vehicle finally stopped after driving off a concrete pad into the grass.
The yet unidentified 17-year-old driver was arrested without further incident, while four juvenile passengers were released to parents or guardians.
In total, the chase spanned half a mile and was said to have not caused any property damage or injuries.
