A local singing organization is getting ready for its annual holiday celebration.
The Clipper City Chordsmen are hosting their annual holiday show on Thursday, December 13th, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Franciscan Center for Music Education.
Guests are invited to join the Chordsmen for a “secret” surprise party for Santa.
President Don Lewellen says Santa’s birthday falls on the 13th, and he “never gets a chance to celebrate properly because of a much more important birthday later in the month.”
There will be a wide range of traditional and some not-so-traditional songs to keep the audience engaged throughout the show.
Along with the Chordsmen, there will be chapter quartets like Lake Effect, Quandary, Barberpops, Flirts and Skirts, and Harmony to Go performing at the show.
During an intermission, the Chordsmen will name this year’s Harmony Award recipient, an award given to a person or people who most exemplify the spirit of harmony in Manitowoc County.
Tickets for the annual holiday show are $20 for adults and $10 for students.
