An annual holiday tradition returns to the City of Sheboygan this weekend.
The 33rd Sheboygan Jaycees Holiday Parade, being held in partnership with Lake 98.1, will take place in Downtown Sheboygan on Sunday (November 30th), beginning at 5:00 p.m.
The parade route will begin at the intersection of Center Avenue and 7th Street, heading north on 7th Street to Erie Avenue.
It will then head west on Erie to 8th Street, before turning south on 8th Street and ending at the Mead Public Library.
This year’s theme is Holiday Movies, paying homage to all the films that fill the holidays with joy, laughter, and nostalgia.
During the parade, the Girl Scout Troop 8137 will be holding a collection drive as they walk.
They will be collecting hygiene items and paper products from those in attendance, with all items later to be donated to Safe Harbor of Sheboygan County and Bridgeway.
Following the parade, the annual tree lighting ceremony will be held outside the library.
Those who are unable to attend the parade but want to listen in to the festivities are able to do so by tuning in to Lake 98.1 or wlkn.com.
