Seehafer Broadcasting has announced which local organization will be the beneficiary of the Manitowoc area’s generous nature this holiday season.
Every year, Traffick Manager Jenny Kanieski organizes the Seehafer Broadcasting Giving Tree drive, in which donations to a non-profit are collected.
This year’s collection drive is called the Good Dog Giving Tree.
“This year our recipient is the Circle of Souls Animal Rescue,” she revealed during the Friday morning show on WOMT.
“They’re based out of Sheboygan. They’ve got foster homes in all our surrounding counties. There’s some in Manitowoc, some in Sheboygan, other areas. I’ve been following them for a while. They’re fairly new. They started in September of 2023.”
The mission of the organization is to give animals full-circle care until they find their fur-ever home.
In order to continue this mission, however, The Circle of Souls is in need of some items.
“(It’s) not just dog-related,” Jenny noted. “Things like stamps, they need Clorox wipes, envelopes, gas cards, because this is all foster-based. The fosters are bringing the animals in for their vet appointments, taking care of them.”
They are also in need of things like harnesses, leashes, certain brands of dog food, dog wipes, dog beds, blankets, and more.
A full list of wanted items can be found at WOMTRadio.com. You can also donate cash if you prefer.
To participate, simply bring your donation to the Seehafer Broadcasting studios, located at 3730 Mangin Street in Manitowoc, during normal business hours.
Your donation can make a difference in an animal’s life, ensuring they get to enjoy the holidays with their new families.
