The escaped “Slender Man” defendant, Morgan Geyser, is back in Waukesha.
According to Waukesha County Sheriff’s Lt. Nicholas Wenzel, Geyser is now in custody at the county jail.
She was found at a truck stop in Posen, Illinois, just one day after cutting off her monitoring bracelet and fleeing a group home.
On November 26th, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services filed a petition to revoke the conditional release she was granted earlier this year.
Eleven years ago, Geyser and co-defendant Anissa Weier attempted to kill their friend and classmate, Payton Leutner, in Waukesha County — a crime that drew national attention.
