A man from Sheboygan has entered his plea in a Marathon County sexual assault case.
Court records show that 30-year-old Terrell M. Poe was present on Monday (November 24th) for his arraignment.
Poe has been charged with First-Degree Sexual Assault with the Use of a Dangerous Weapon, Battery or Threat to a Law Enforcement Officer, Carrying a Concealed Knife, and Resisting or Obstructing an Officer, all of which carry repeater modifiers.
At Monday’s hearing, the 30-year-old entered not guilty pleas to all four charges he faces and, currently, is set to stand trial for the incident that occurred on May 29th earlier this year.
WAOW News out of Wausau, where the incident occurred, reports that Poe allegedly forced himself onto an unidentified female victim while armed with a knife.
The victim then reported the incident to authorities and later agreed to a sexual assault examination.
Days later, Wausau Police located Poe, who threatened to stab the arresting officers when he was brought into custody.
Poe does have a bit of a violent criminal past, as he was previously convicted of Aggravated Battery in Milwaukee County after a violent assault of a City of Milwaukee bus driver.
He will return to court in Marathon County for a pre-trial conference on Tuesday (December 2nd).
