Those traveling for Thanksgiving are getting a bit of reprieve at the pump.
Since this time last week, Manitowoc County’s average price per gallon of regular unleaded fuel fell a nickel to $2.77 as reported by the AAA Gas Prices website.
This is the third straight week of declining gas prices locally, and the lowest price at the pump since mid-October.
Meanwhile, Sheboygan County saw a six-cent drop to $2.74, and Calumet County reported a four-cent dip to $2.78.
Outagamie County’s average remained unchanged at $2.73, while Brown County saw a seven-cent drop to $2.73, and Kewaunee County motorists are paying six cents less per gallon with an average of $2.77.
Door County was the only area to report an increase, jumping seven cents to $2.85.
The state average followed local trends, dipping six cents to $2.72, while the national average is down a nickel to $3.04.
