A Greenfield man is dead after being hit by a bus over the weekend.
Police were called out to 56th Street and West Forest Home Avenue on Saturday for a welfare check when the man was found on the ground and not moving.
An officer found the 61-year-old trying to perform first aid when he arrived, but the man was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.
Police noted the bus was with the Milwaukee County Transit System, and nobody on the bus was injured.
