Some more details have come to light regarding a killing in Calumet County.
22-year-old Ethan Graverson was in Calumet County Court yesterday on a charge of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide with a Domestic Abuse modifier for the killing of his father late last week.
WBAY reports that Graverson and his father had gotten into a verbal altercation on Friday afternoon, which led to Graverson going to the garage and grabbing a gun.
After shooting his father, Graverson reportedly put the gun on a bench, called 911, and waited outside for police.
Graverson allegedly told police there had been tension between the two of them for years for issues including his father’s mental and emotional abuse.
He admitted to having thoughts of killing his father in the past and going to therapy to talk about his depression, but he did not continue that treatment.
Graverson is being held in the Calumet County Jail on a $1,000,000 cash bond and is due back in court on January 5th.
