One day after two people involved in a child neglect case had their hearings postponed, the other two people involved also had their hearings delayed.
Melissa Goodman and Savanna LeFever appeared in Outagamie County court yesterday, from their jail cells, without legal representation.
Since attorneys have yet to be appointed for them, Goodman’s preliminary hearing was postponed until December 11th, and LeFever’s was rescheduled for November 25th.
The duo, along with Kayla Stemler and Walter Goodman, are charged with child neglect after Walter’s 14-year-old daughter was found to be severely malnourished.
When she was discovered, she was said to only weigh 35 pounds, but has since doubled her weight, according to a GoFundMe page set up to help her.
Stemler also has no legal representation and is due back in court on December 2nd, while Goodman has a lawyer and is due back in court on January 5th.
