An Indianapolis, Indiana, man charged in a Manitowoc attempted homicide is having one more hearing before possibly going to trial.
61-year-old Clarence Holder will be back in Manitowoc County court this morning for a pre-trial hearing in Branch 1.
Holder is facing charges of attempted 1st-degree intentional homicide, armed robbery with use of force, burglary, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Manitowoc Police were called to the 2700 block of Viebahn Street in November 2023 for a complaint about a victim who was shot at an apartment complex.
A criminal complaint alleges that Holder tried to pose as a FedEx delivery worker as he was trying to rob the victim, who was not named.
After asking for his “stuff,” Holder allegedly shot the victim as he escaped from an apartment and got away.
The 61-year-old suspect was later arrested back in Indiana by Manitowoc Police.
