The Two Rivers Police Department is asking again for donations for the annual Shop with a Cop event.
Around the holiday season, officers will take time out of their day to pick up children from their homes in a squad car and take them shopping for gifts for their families and themselves.
However, the number of children and families TRPD can help depends on the generosity of the public.
Like in years past, staff from the Two Rivers Public School District will identify students who would benefit most from assistance and will work closely with the police department to ensure families most in need get support during the holidays.
Anyone interested in donating to Shop With a Cop can send cash or checks to the Two Rivers Professional Police Association, with the money either being mailed or dropped off at the police station located at 1717 East Park Street.
Anyone with questions or who wants more information can contact School Resource Officer Briana Propson or Police Secretary Kathy Schroeder by calling either 920-686-7200 or 920-793-1191.
