The City of Plymouth will soon need to hire or promote someone to the role of Fire Chief.
The current leader of the Plymouth Fire Department, Ryan Pafford, was recently selected to be the City Administrator in Kiel, and his final day in his current position will be December 5th.
Pafford was accepted by the Kiel City Council on a 5-1 vote, with 3rd District Alder John Brocker refusing to take part in the conversation.
Former Kiel Police Chief Dave Funkhauser resigned from the position, but has stayed on to train Pafford.
The Plymouth Fire Chief job opening has yet to be posted.
