Authorities say a person of interest in connection with a deadly shooting in Madison is in custody.
Officers found the victim lying in the street with a gunshot wound on Monday and later died at the hospital.
The suspect was identified through witness interviews and digital evidence.
MPD says the suspect was found near the airport Monday night and arrested during a high-risk traffic stop.
