A section of I-43 southbound is closed off to traffic due to a crash.
Details are scarce at the moment, but it was confirmed by an eyewitness that multiple cars were involved in the crash near the County Road C interchange.
Traffic in the area is being detoured off the highway around the area and back on further south.
It is not clear what caused the crash or how long the section of the highway will be closed.
