The Port of Green Bay saw another successful month.
A total of 223,406 tons of product came through the port in October, which is a 35% increase from the September totals.
That is also the second-highest total for any month this year, with only August’s total of 244,675 being higher.
20 vessels delivered commodities, including limestone (79,279 tons), salt (62,325 tons), cement (38,528 tons), petroleum products (28,287 tons), wood pulp (8,897 tons), and liquid asphalt (6,090 tons).
The port has been able to overcome an unusually slow start to the season and is on pace to end the shipping season right around the same tonnage as the past several years.
The total tonnage was listed at 1,213,367 for the 2025 season, with two more cycles left to record.
In 2024, the Port of Green Bay brought in just shy of 1.7 tons, slightly lower than the 1.78 tons in 2023 and the 1.76 tons in 2022.
