The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation marked its 100th anniversary with a large investment in the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s research.
WARF announced an over $206-million commitment for fiscal year 2026, to help research and innovation at the university and the Morgridge Institute.
The investment includes annual grants, operational support, and the transfer of WARF’s ownership stake in the Discovery Building, giving it to UW-Madison and the Morgridge Institute for Research.
The commitment includes $50 million for strategic initiatives and nearly $36 million to support faculty and student researchers.
