There is now a new outlet in Two Rivers for those experiencing hunger throughout the community.
The Two Rivers Hunger Task Force has introduced its first Tiny Free Pantry at the Two Rivers Senior Center.
The Tiny Free Pantry is open to anyone in need and is located at the 17th Street entrance of the Senior Center.
It will be monitored by Senior Center staff, allowing for this new community asset to serve Two Rivers residents and families who are facing food scarcity.
Additionally, any generous residents looking to make donations and add to the pantry are encouraged to stop by and place nonperishable goods into the housing facility at any time.
While just recently introduced by the Two Rivers Task Force, the Tiny Free Pantry is already stocked with a wide variety of shelf-stable items, including soups, mac and cheese, cereal, pasta, canned tuna, and much more.
While any nonperishables are accepted, Food Banks across Northeastern Wisconsin have said items of most importance continue to be pasta and sauce, cereal, and cans of tuna.
Those looking to utilize the Tiny Free Pantry or to make a donation can do so by visiting the Two Rivers Senior Center located at 1520 17th Street.
