Spots are filling up quickly for the second annual Cool City Christmas Tree Decorating Contest.
While Cool City Christmas returns for a third year, the Tree Decorating Contest is back after much success last year, and there are currently only 12 spots remaining.
Those looking to participate in the event are required to submit their registration by the end of the day today (November 14th).
Once submissions are collected, November 21st through the 23rd will serve as the tree decorating weekend for those participating.
The Two Rivers Parks and Recreation Department says that the Tree Decorating Contest serves as a great opportunity for families, work teams, clubs, and volunteer organizations looking to give back while spreading holiday cheer.
Trees are required to follow a unique theme and will be judged on creativity, originality, and how well they represent the chosen theme.
All trees must also be family-friendly, and political themes will not be tolerated.
The 3rd annual Cool City Christmas is set to take place on December 13th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Central Park East.
Those looking to register before the deadline closes can do so by calling Two Rivers Parks and Rec at 920-793-5592.
