The Sheboygan Theatre Company (STC) will be bringing laughter, tears, and timeless friendship to the stage next month.
Celebrating its 92nd season, STC will present Steel Magnolias for eight shows between December 5th through the 13th at the Leslie W. Johnson Theatre inside Horace Mann Middle School.
This production will include a cast of just six women from the local community and is directed by Lauren Shields from New York.
STC Executive Director Tricia Roberts is excited to see what the all-women production can do, saying, “Our talented cast and crew, led by a wonderful director, are shaping a production filled with warmth, humor, and heart. This story is a celebration of community built around women supporting women. We can’t wait for audiences to experience it together.”
The story of Steel Magnolias is set in a small-town Louisiana salon, where resilience, friendship, and quick wit will be on full display.
Tickets are now available for purchase for all eight shows and will cost $23 for adults, $16 for those 60 years or older, and $11 for students through college.
