Sheboygan’s Above and Beyond Children’s Museum recently welcomed colleagues from across the state for networking and education.
Above and Beyond hosted the annual Wisconsin Children’s Museum Gathering on Monday (November 10th), where they invited staff members from 13 different museums across the state inside their doors.
This comes as a big occasion every year, as the state of Wisconsin has more children’s museums per capita than any other state in the country.
At the gathering, Above and Beyond staff centered their discussions around the theme, Play is Healing.
In doing so, those in attendance, which included over 50 nonprofit professionals, participated in a tour of the museum’s renovated spaces, mindful yoga, workshops, and much more.
When sharing about this week’s experience, Above and Beyond stated that they are extremely grateful for this network of support from fellow children’s museum professionals from every corner of the Badger State.
