A local cycling club is looking to spread holiday cheer and help those in need.
Sheboygan County Cycling is inviting the public to participate in the 2025 Making Spirits Bright Holiday Group Ride and Food Drive on November 26th.
Those participating will take a group bike ride through the Making Spirits Bright Light Show in Evergreen Park, which will be blocked off to vehicle traffic, making for a safe ride for people of all ages and cycling ability.
On the day of the ride, cyclists will meet at the Quarry Building at 4:30 p.m. for a group photo and food donation which will benefit the Sheboygan County Food Bank.
Last year, the event saw nearly 300 pounds of food donated by approximately 100 riders.
The group ride will be broken into three waves, with experienced and fast riders going out at 5:00 p.m., families, kids, and slower riders heading out at 5:10 p.m., and the dirt ride rollout will begin at 5:30 p.m.
