Senator Tammy Baldwin was in Eastern Wisconsin today to talk about affordable health care.
Sen. Baldwin held a press conference at Vintage Rose Bakery & Sandwich Shop in De Pere, where she spoke about extending the Affordable Care Act’s enhanced premium tax credits.
Sen. Baldwin voted against the government funding bill, which she said “fails to stop health care costs from skyrocketing for more than 275,000 Wisconsinites.”
She also introduced and forced a vote to consider her amendment to the government funding bill to extend the premium tax credits for one year and stop 22 million Americans from having their premiums double.
Sen. Baldwin was joined by local constituents who rely on the ACA to receive healthcare.
